This is Halloween. :0)

Love being an aunt!

Last night Philip and I took my niece and nephew to Nightmare on 13th. My nephew has been constantly begging his parents to go to haunted house ever since he started to see them pop up around town. We all kind of wondered how he would do.

L.j. was literally sitting on the edge of his seat. Every time Philip slowed down he would have to look out the windows to see if we were there. It must have been very exhausting being so excited to go to a haunted house and he crashed on our way to SLC.
Once we pulled into the parking lot L.j. was stoked! He was so excited to be there!
I must tell you he handled it like a champ! He held his aunt's hand and made sure I was holding him extra close (which I totally don't mind, I figure I only have a couple more years of this now), but no tears came from this kid. He did jump and get startled a lot, but even I couldn't believe how strong he was! I think I got scared more than he did at times. When we walked out we asked him what he thought and he said, "That was AWESOME!!" We all had a blast together and I enjoyed being able to spend time with Majesta and L.j. Seriously being an aunt is one of my favorite things ever! I'm so lucky to have the cute nieces and nephews that I do.
We told L.j. that we think the zombies got a hold of him because he could barely keep his eyes open when we stopped to eat and as soon as we got in the car he was out for the count.

Love him..

Just had to share an adorable picture of my newest nephew.

Life..

A few weekends ago one of my best friends got married! We had such a blast and enjoyed spending time with our friends. This is my friend's daughter Rylee. She is seriously the cutest thing ever!

Me, Brindy, and Kierstin. My best friends since jr. high! Love these girls!

Kierstin and the bride Nikki. She looked so gorgeous on her big day.

 Just us girls!

 So happy for ya Nikki!
We managed to squeeze in a Real game and scored free bobble heads of our goalkeeper, Nick Rimando. They had a "real size" bobble head too if you can tell by this picture

Other than that we mostly just wake up, go to work, and spend the night doing homework. We finished up one of our classes and both did pretty well. We don't know our final grades yet, but they were good before we took our last test. We decided to take another class for the last part of the semester so we're definitely busy. Hopefully I'll have a more eventful post next time, but I just wanted to get some of my pictures on here.

Update: We both received As in our Accounting class! Wahoo! :0)

Yikes!!

Somehow I managed to get another year older! Yuck! I do have to admit though there's nothing like growing older when you have the best people by your side to grow old with. Philip and my family absolutely made this a great birthday! Plus my friends too. I really am so loved! Philip and I decided to take the Friday off so we could go up to Park City and celebrate there, but I was able to get off a little early on my actual birthday and go spend time with my mom. We went shopping and had lunch. It was so fun to just spend the day with my mom. That night Phiip, my mom, my brother, and I all went to Tepanyaki and boy was it yummy! I love that place.

P.S. Did I mention it snowed on my birthday? There's a first for everything I guess.

Friday my siblings, mom, Philip, my cute nephew Heston, and me all went out to eat at Olive Garden to celebrate the crazy amount of birthdays that are all shoved into the week. My mom's birthday is Oct 3, mine is Oct 6, and my brother John's is Oct 7. It's such a crazy week, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

After lunch Philip and I were off to Park City!
Our bottle of cider because we are cool!

Getting ready to hit the town. Man my husband is HOT!

My new BFF from the Thriller show. Thriller is a must see for us every year! Love it!

Of course we came out to a snow storm!!

We finished the night in the hot tub while it was snowing! It was a blast!
Thanks to everyone who spoiled me on my birthday! You guys are the best!!

T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!

Last night while Philip and I were taking a timed test for our accounting class, Trouble decided that she needed to do something to "catch or attention." And guess what? She fulfilled the task at hand. Not only did she spend the duration of our test jumping from couch to chair to torture this mouse by catching it and letting it go, she decided that trapping it in our shelf with all of our shoes was the best idea- specifically in one shoe (of course it was mine, but I only wear them to mow the lawn so I'll let it slide this time).

P.S. These shoes are only this gross because I mow the lawn in them- no wonder the mouse felt right at home.

People may not believe me when I say this, but there really is NEVER a boring day in our house.

T Swift

Remember this post ? That was our very first blog and I had pictures from Taylor Swift's Fearless tour. After going to her concert it was decided we wouldn't miss another one of her shows if we had a choice and so....

Last week Taylor Swift came into Salt Lake and of course we went. It was a blast. I'm telling you her shows aren't just concerts. They're a full on show and amazing shows at that!

 Trying to catch the snow
Covering Animal by Neon Trees - it was awesome!

Philip and I debated all night if she was going to be flying around in this balcony and guess what? I was right -take that Philip!

Maybe 5 or 10 ft away from us in the stands

So glad my hubby is willing to go to these kind of concerts with me. He'll probably never admit it, but he's just as much of a Taylor fan as I am. Plus he felt more comfortable this time because there were way more guys there this year than last time haha
