Cali with the Grays!

In September, I was able to travel with Philip and his parents to California. We met up with Michael, Heidi, and Harrison while we were there too. It was such a good time and we did so many fun things. I appreciate them letting me come along, it was a blast!

On our first day there we went to Crystal Cathedral. This place was beautiful. I have never been to a place like this. They even have a drive in service where you can listen to the sermon in your car. It was very interesting and I'm glad that I got to visit such a beautiful place.

And then for the next part of the trip..... DISNEY LAND!!!! Although I have only been to Disney Land a total of 3 times now. I absolutely love it there. We had such a great time. Filled ourselves up with plenty of churros and Dole Whips.

It's a Small World. The previous 2 times I had gone to Disney Land this ride was closed. This was the first time I got to go on it. I loved it. I thought it was such a cute ride. I completely loved all the shrubbery of the animals outside too. So cute!

Harrison and Philip.

I love this picture. :)

Arriving at the beach. Every time Philip and I go to Cali together it is tradition to go to the beach and get us some gelato. So we kept the tradition going!

Philip and his parents.

The Angels game. Before this, I had NEVER gone to a MLB game. It was such a blast. We enjoyed the game and baseball food. To top everything off the Angels WON!

Sporting my new Angel's hat.

Overall California was a blast. I had such a good time. I'm so thankful that I was invited on this awesome trip. It was a great way to use my last vacation time I could use before the wedding. I can't wait for the next trip I get to take with the Grays, hopefully next time the whole family gets to go. Thanks again Mike and Dixie. I had a great time!

I'm Lost Without You

Tonight, Philip is in some town (he told me the name, but I forgot) and has no phone service. For the most part, I have not gone a day or night without talking to Philip since he went on a mission trip to Turkey for about 3 weeks. This is killing me. I miss him so much. I am so thankful that he is in my life and he will be the person I get to spend the rest of my life with. We have been through so much together and I know we can make it through anything. I love him SO much and he is my everything. So babe, when you see this, just know that I am sitting here missing you and loving you. You are the best. You still give me butterflies in my stomach and you are the best thing that has EVER happened to me. I will love you FOREVER!!! Can't wait to hear your voice again. Hope basketball is going well... :) Thanks for everything that you do for me...

Go UTES!!!

Every year, Philip and I get season tickets to the University of Utah football team. They are always a blast to go to and it always gives us something to do. Even though we didn't have a perfect season this year, going to the games is still one of our favorite things to do...

My HOT fiance and I waiting for the game to start. Man I love this kid so much!

Go UTES! I can't wait for next year!

Best Present Ever!!

So for Christmas last year, Philip bought us season tickets to Real Salt Lake. I was way excited when I got them, but I seriously didn't think that I would grow to love them as much as I do. Not to mention this was a perfect year to start being season tickets (Real winning the MLS Cup). I've played soccer since I was in Kindergarten or so. I have loved every minute of it and sometimes you can catch me watching the spanish channels just because soccer is on. After going to every home game this year, I have a new love for not only soccer, but RSL! I had such a blast going to all the games this year and the company wasn't bad either. Thanks Philip for the best present ever! I will never forget it and all the memories that came with it!!! :)

Back on track.

I have been SUPER busy lately and haven't really found the time to blog (not to mention my computer has been broke and I just barely got it back). I'm going to try to update things that we've been doing and get "back on track". Hopefully I can fill you in on what's been going on.

As for the most EXCITING thing that has happened (at least for me) RSL WON THE MLS CUP!!!! I'm so EXCITED and can't believe it happened. The only way it could've been better is if we were in Seattle to enjoy it in person. We went to the celebration and Rio Tinto Stadium and since we're season ticket holders we were able to get a picture with the MLS Cup and the other trophies we won this year. The picture turned out awesome!

As for everything else, hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures up on my computer and keep this updated more frequently with the past and the future stuff!
P.S. Less than 6 months till the wedding! Can't wait!!! :0)

Quick Blog...

Well according to Philip, I don't "keep this updated enough." It seems like lately we have both been so busy with everything and just have been running nonstop. Last Thursday we met with our "wedding consultant" at Canterbury Place. Everything seems like it is going to fall into place pretty easily. They do pretty much everything there so outside of that there really isn't that much we have to worry about. We picked out our food we wanted for our guests, cake knives, napkins, and a whole bunch of small stuff. I just can't believe how fast everything is going. There really is just under 9 months till we're married. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Philip... Here's to May 21 and hopefully everything continues to run smoothly.. :0)

And the date is....

Philip and I set a date for the wedding. It's May 21. We're going to get married at Canterbury Place in Bountiful, UT. It's beautiful there. There's a cute little outside ceremony area that is covered with trees and has fountains on the wall. We're crossing our fingers for a sunny day in hopes of getting married outside. Inside, there is a huge room for you to sit, hang out and eat some food. Then there is a huge ballroom as well. We're way excited to start getting things going. We're meeting with our wedding consultant next Thursday to start getting everything planned. In 9 months and 4 days we will be married! I can't wait! :0)

WE'RE ENGAGED!!!!!!

July 22, 2009, Philip showed up at my house while I was taking a nap and told me to get out of my pjs "he was starving and wanted something to eat." So I literally got up put a pair of jeans on a called it good. We started driving to get some food and he went the opposite way of where we were going and I asked him why. He convinced me he wanted to go for a quick drive to my property before it got dark. Before I know it, we're up at my property and I couldn't believe what I was in for!

When we first arrived to the property he set up a projector to play on the side of the trailer (altough it was too bright so we just watched it on his computer) a homemade movie of pictures of us and Brad Paisley's song "Then." Which I absolutely love! Here's the video!

Then after that he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes!

Then it was followed up by a romantic candlelit dinner of steak and lobster prepared by my sister while Philip drove to pick me up! It was such a great meal and such a great night! I couldn't ask for anything more perfect! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!

We're planning to get married next May. So now you'll start seeing all the wedding details on here! :0)

Our Furniture!

So Philip and I decided that we would buy our furniture (even though we have to put it in storage) that way we wouldn't be putting out so much money all at once when we get married. A couple weeks ago we finally got to pick up our furniture and I absolutely love it! It's brown and turquoise and so me (Philip likes it too).

Here is a picture of the couch! It is seriously one of the most comfortable couches I've ever sat on! I love the pillows and everything. Originally Philip and I wanted a sectional, but we decided a couch and love seat would be best that way we wouldn't be looking for a place to suit our furniture instead of us!

This is the love seat. It is seriously huge for a love seat. At least I think haha. It's almost as big as my sister's main couch in her house.
The ottoman! Man this thing is huge! You can literally pull it up to the couch and it almost makes it like a giant bed! It will be so awesome to have...

Now here's where Philip and I didn't see eye to eye haha. The last piece to the set was a chair. It totally goes with everything, but it was a bit pricey for a chair! Yes we ended up getting it, but I did hear, "You better love that chair and sit in it all the time."

I'm pretty bummed that our furniture has to sit in storage for awhile, but it will totally be worth it and we plan on having it all paid off in less than a year! :0) Can't wait to be able to use it!

4 years!

On June 19, Philip and I have officially been a couple for 4 years! We had a blast just hanging out and actually going out on a date which doesn't happen too often anymore. First we went to get rainbow floats (which are the yummiest thing ever) then we headed over to the duck pond and walked around and ate our rainbow floats. It was fun because we used to go to the duck pond all the time and I love that place! Then we went out for dinner and a movie. We saw the movie The Proposal, which we both LOVED! I highly recommend everyone to see it. Here are some pics from our night!

New Blog!

So I decided to start a blog! I always read other people's blogs and have been debating on starting one for awhile now, so here I am. We'll see how it goes from here.

Tuesday, May 26, Philip and I went to the Taylor Swift concert! It was awesome! She is such a great performer. It was actually exactly 4 years ago that day that I met Philip. I can't believe it's already been that long. Although sometimes it seems like I've known him forever, the fact that it has been 4 years is just crazy.

Here are some pics from the show! (take in mind that my camera died minutes before the concert started, so the quality is not so great)

He Smiled!!!

My text totally made it on the big screen!

Right before my camera died haha

The Opening Act
All in all, it was so nice to get out and do something! I miss being able to go to concerts all the time and I plan on making them a more frequent event!
