To Park City We Go....

After Sandy's shower, Philip and I packed up and went to Park City for the night to celebrate our anniversary. We haven't had a free Saturday in so long and Philip works late on Fridays so we jumped on the opportunity to head up there while we had the chance. First we went to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and it was super delicious. We both have never been here and were super impressed with not only the quality of the food, but the superior customer service. You don't really see that great of customer service in a lot of places anymore, but there's was amazing! After dinner we went and spent the night at the Zermatt Resort in Midway. This resort was super cute and had a great little feel to it! Philip's sister gave us these little questionnaire things that we were able to do. I believe they were 10 questions to ask your husband/wife every year (Erin if I'm wrong I'm sorry - I have the paper put away so this is all from my memory). It was a great opportunity to find out things about each other and to just have the opportunity to talk. We then finally got to eat our cake! It was so yummy! After we walked around the resort and played a game of chess. Philip beat me and I can't believe it! I used to be a pro at chess! The next day we woke up bright and early to spend the day golfing at Homestead Resort. At first I was really frustrated because I was doing horrible and it was pretty embarrassing to do horrible at something in front of people you don't know. Plus the natural competitor in me gets mad when things don't come easily to me. After a little bit though I just let it go and we were able to have a great time. Philip is a pro at golf! It was so fun to get out and do something together that I know he enjoys. Plus Homestead was beautiful. So many great views of what Utah has to offer. When I see the beauty that is here I can't imagine living anywhere else. Here are our pictures from the trip!

Our cake at our wedding - seriously how awesome was it?
I had to throw this in - isn't this the best cake picture EVER?

Our setup to eat our cake - my aunt bought us the candle holders to use every year on a our anniversary to remember the reasons we fell in love every year. Such an awesome idea!

Sometimes I pretend like I can golf

It was a great time just to get away together. We had a blast. I'm glad that we were able to spend the day doing something that Philip loves to do by going golfing. I can't wait for the many years to come and all the other celebrations we're going to have. Love you Philip- thanks for everything you do for me! I couldn't ask for a better husband or a better best friend!
