Fishies!!!

FINALLY! The Living Planet Aquarium opened up! We have been waiting forever to go! Feels like yesterday we were just visiting with our 3 month old *here*, what happened? Our little boy sure is growing fast! Treyson loved the aquarium last time we went, but he REALLY loved it this time! We had such a fun time!

Treyson was super amused by all the fishies! He loved them!

The aquarium has a lot more to it at the new location. I can't wait for it to slow down some so we can go back again. It was super busy! We arrived when it first opened and were able to look at everything before it got super busy. If you don't like crowds, go early or go on an off day.

My handsome boys looking at all the different fishies! The aquarium that is over a walkway is awesome!

Don't forget the birds at the aquarium! I know birds, weird right? Treyson loved the toucans.... But don't forget his favorite part... THE PENGUINS!

Our cute little penguin! Of course he wouldn't sit still for a picture.

Can't believe how much Treyson has grown in just over a year. So crazy!

After our fun adventure at the aquarium we met up with grandma for some lunch and a much needed nap afterwards!

Easter!

Treyson had lots of fun this year at Easter! He was able to participate in all of the Easter egg hunts this year and loved it! First he was able to warm up at his cousin's birthday party, the night before the big city egg hunt!

Treyson was doing so good picking up all the eggs... Well until he found a baseball! Trey is a sport's fanatic! We can't keep him from playing basketball, baseball, soccer, you name it! He was so proud he picked up the baseball and wouldn't leave it alone!

The next day was the big hunt! We woke up early and went to the park. IT WAS INSANE! There were lots of eggs everywhere and after about 30 seconds they were all gone. Those kids are fast right? Nope it was all the insane parents picking up everything for their kids! Oh well, Treyson still had fun! :)

The next morning the Easter Bunny came to visit! Treyson was spoiled with a new basketball hoop and lots of candy!

Some cute pics of my handsome boys at church! I don't know how I got so lucky! These two make me happier than they'll ever know. I just love them!

After church and lunch with Philip's parents, we wrapped up the night at my mom's house! Treyson got to particpate in another Easter egg hunt and enjoy lots of fun family time!

Hope everyone else had a great Easter!

Our cute nieces were able to join us for a game and had a blast!

Basketball Nights!

Much to my dismay, Philip has turned Treyson into a basketball nut!
After attended a couple games Treyson had basketball all figured out. He kept attempting to make baskets at Philip's game so for Easter the Easter Bunny brought him his very own basketball and hoop! He is one spoiled little boy!

He found the basketball and went straight for the hoop! Future NBA star? I think so! :)

15 Month Checkup!

15 Months Old: March 2, 2014
Height:  32 inches (78th %)
Weight:  22 lbs 4 oz. (41st %)
Head:  48.5 cm (95th %)
Clothing Size: 18 Months, 24 Months, and some 2T
Diaper Size: 4

Likes: Treyson is a little obsessed with his pets. By obsessed I mean he has figured out how to drive his cars into them and chase them around the house, when they run he thinks they're playing with them. Treyson is also a big softy for his grandparents. He loves to be cuddled and loved on by them. He loves his mama and dada too and has started to give us lots of big sloppy kisses. HE LOVES BOOKS! I think he makes us read to him at least 50 times a day. He is also obsessed with his own voice and constantly babbles and tells himself jokes all day long. He likes to play soccer, basketball, or any other sport really. He also loves, loves, loves to be outside. It's a constant battle to keep him inside. Loves Dinosaur Train, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Sesame Street, and Daniel Tiger. He loves to be the center of attention and doesn't mind one bit to have everyone looking at him and clapping for him. He loves to scream "DADA" and make Philip come look at whatever he's doing.
New Things: Treyson has mastered the task of going up and down stairs. So much in fact that he does this on repeat on a continual basis. He has also learned to climb on the couch, on his toys, in the bathtub, you name it he probably climbs it. Treyson is more independent now and will play with his toys more. He has still been pretty picky with food, especially since getting sick. Although he loves milk, it has been his worst enemy lately (I miss sleep). Treyson isn't just walking anymore, he full on sprints! Trey signs for more and all done. He shakes his head when he doesn't want something. He's started to talk and tell us exactly what he does want. His favorite thing to say is "What is that?" Treyson is a major dancer now! He loves to shake his booty!

Dislikes: Nap time, being told No!, going inside, a lot of foods (at least we know you'll always eat chicken nuggets), sitting in a high chair, not being able to constantly run around, when the dogs and cat don't want to play, and when mommy and daddy leave.

To be honest, there's not much that Treyson doesn't like. He is a pretty lovable and fun little guy! He is the biggest flirt I know and never misses an opportunity to flirt with a cute girl he sees. Today at the store a lady smiled and waved at him and he greeted her with the biggest green and cheesiest laugh. He loves the ladies! He has started to tell us jokes (we really have no idea what he's saying) and his laugh is the cutest thing. We just love our little Treyson!

Updates!

I am kind of horrible at updating! Woops! A lot has been going on! Treyson was really sick, we had family come into town, we went snowboarding, still both going to school, still working, yada yada yada......Our little Treyson turned 15 months old at the beginning of the month. I'll update his stats when I get a free minute! But one really exciting thing happened! Philip landed an awesome job at HAFB and we are so proud of him! Not to mention he was offered the job a day after finding out his work was closing! We went out last night to celebrate and had a lot of fun. Tepanyaki and Boondocks are always a good time! We are all so proud of Philip and I know I'm way excited to have him home more! Love you babe and in case I haven't said it enough, I'm so proud of you!

Mama Always Knows!

It all started a couple weeks ago and after 3 visits to the doctor we found out our little guy has C Diff. Blah! This has not been a fun experience AT ALL! I had a lot of people tell me that Trey just had a stomach bug or that he was fine and he wasn't sick, but when mama knows, she just knows.

Treyson still had a lot of his personality, but he definitely hasn't been himself for a couple of weeks and it's been soooo hard to see. Usually he is generally happy probably 95% of the time (I know we're lucky). We do get some tantrums and stuff thrown in there, but it's usually followed by his laughter 30 seconds after. The last couple weeks that's disappeared. He's been super clingy (he's not a cuddler at all), he's been very cranky, and just hasn't been very happy.

On Monday, the doctor finally called us back and let us know that he had blood in his stool and on Tuesday we got another phone call saying he has C Diff. We still have no idea how he got it. Here's some pictures of my little guy after his rough doctor's visit last Friday. Breaks my heart a little a lot.

Sunday night and Monday were really hard days for us. Treyson screamed bloody murder Sunday night and the only thing that settled him down after about an hour of screaming was taking a bath. Luckily his Aunt CC bought him this toy for Christmas that he loves and it helped cheer him up. Monday began with him throwing up that morning followed by throwing up tons that night. Philip is an AMAZING dad. Have I mentioned that? He was on throw up patrol and was so much help. I tried to help, but then Philip would've been cleaning up double the throw up.

Did I mention Monday night I started to feel a little under the weather? Yup. Being the great mom I am I decided I wanted to be really empathetic and get sick just like Treyson.  Mom of the year right? Followed up with the doctor today and it's looking like I'm lucky enough to have C Diff too! Yay for a house full of sickies. On the bright side, I have enjoyed all of the snuggle time I've had with Treyson.
