Treyson's Nursery

We finally were able to get Treyson's room pretty much done. We still have a couple things to add, but I wanted to get some of the pictures on here before he decides to come.

His nursery was a complete project. Our house is painted HORRIBLY! We had to do lots of sanding to get rid of bad texture and pretty much start over. Once the sanding was done it was a lot easier to do, but sanding took FOREVER!!

We wanted to paint it so that if we decide to move you wouldn't walk in and be blown away with nursery colors. I feel like this room could easily serve as a regular bedroom for someone else if we decided to sell our house.

All of our puppies and Trouble have been super curious about this bedroom. Especially Kimber. She just couldn't pass up a photo opportunity. We definitely have more to add to this wall eventually.

It's crazy to think that here within the next week or so I'll be able to hold Treyson in here. I can't wait for him to be here. I see lots of nights rockin' my little boy in that chair.

A few weeks ago we had a baby shower at our church and they had some of the cutest decorations including these signs welcoming Treyson and the cute flower vase. We have definitely been spoiled by everyone and appreciate all the help.

My sister Sam and her boyfriend Chris helped us put up the chair rail on the walls and I think it was the perfect touch!

I made Treyson's name with a sport's theme. It's hard to tell in the picture, but we have some football, soccer, baseball, basketball, and of course we had to throw in our love for our utes!

Look at the proud daddy!

We're going to take the onesie with Treyson's name to the hospital so all of his guests can sign it and he'll always have it to remember!
These are part of the decorations that were made for our shower at church. Are they not adorable?

Now all we need is a little boy to arrive and fill this nursery. (o:

35 weeks!

I can't believe that we've finally made it to 35 weeks! That means in 5 weeks or less we get to meet our little Treyson (maybe 6, but hopefully not). We haven't been able to get very many good face pictures since our 20 week appointment, but luckily he was very active at our last visit according to our doctor and we were able to get this snapshot! Philip thinks he has my nose. I'm still not convinced. Regardless he is already so stinkin' cute how can you not love him?

That big blob to the right of the picture is his foot. He has GIANT feet. This I definitely know he gets from my side of the family due to all my nieces and nephews with their giant feet. We bought him a cute pair of Utah booties that we're hoping fit him for his trip home from the hospital.

He is already weighing in at about 6 lbs. It's crazy to think he's that big already. As always the doctor told us he is developing great. Great heart, very active, very flexible, practicing his breathing, and very healthy!

His nursery is almost done and hopefully I'll have some pictures up soon. So far it looks great! Philip and I are definitely trying to finish up our "To Do" list so that we are more than ready for when he decides to make his entrance.

Philip is convinced we will be welcoming him around Thanksgiving.. I'm convinced that if he's anything like his dad I will be waiting a week past my due date before he decides to come. Either way in 6 weeks or less we will have our Treyson Isaac here and we absolutely can't wait!

Showered With Love

A couple weeks ago my family had a baby shower for me! It was a blast and we were very spoiled! We loved all the cute outfits and gifts! Thanks to all of our family and friends that came and spoiled us! It really means a lot. Look how cute this present is wrapped! I love the wrapping paper and cute dump truck on top!
Opening presents. Treyson was very spoiled with lots of cute clothes, Utah gear, RSL gear, and many other toys and odds and ends.

Look how cute this diaper cake is? Love it!

Thanks again everyone!

Random Pics

Okay so I don't really have a spot to post these pics so it will just be one blog of random pics.

My cute pups!
Happy Halloween! Love Cujo Kimber
(Don't mind my crazy swollen feet)

On one of my sleepless nights when I finally decided to go back to bed I walked in to these two passed out. Of course Bentley woke up and was rather annoyed that I disturbed his sleep, but I was still able to snap this cute pic!
Go Utes! It feels like football season just started, but we only have one more home game left. It was a great win today!

32 Weeks!!

Today we got to see our little Treyson again!

Although he has become really camera shy and we haven't had a good ultrasound picture for a couple months, he is still doing great!

He weighs approximately 4.5 lbs right now.
He is currently above average on his weight, but the doc said that could just be a growth spurt.

Heartbeat sounds good.

He had the hiccups.

He is getting ready to come pretty soon. Only 8 more weeks. Maybe sooner!

We've started to work on his nursery and hope to have that done soon.

Philip says I'm horrible at updating about him so I will try to be better.

We go back to the doctor in another couple of weeks so hopefully I have a better update then.

We absolutely can't wait to meet him!

We have so much to do, but one thing we have been good about is making sure he is a fully prepared Ute fan when he gets here!

The Big 2-5!

Last weekend I celebrated my 25th birthday!

On Friday, my mom, brother, and I went to Gardner Village and looked through all the shops there. I've never been there during Halloween. It's crazy how many more people are there. It was fun to get away for a few hours and go somewhere different than normal. Plus we got some yummy snacks from the bakery there. I love that place! It's probably a good thing we're having a little boy because if we were having a little girl I could've done some serious damage at the shops there. Luckily there's not much around for little boys so I find must haves in small amounts.

On Saturday, after spending some time with my family Philip and I decided we would try to take one last mini-vacation before Treyson got here so we packed up our bags and stayed in Park City for the night. It was really relaxing and a lot of fun. Our room was awesome too! I told Philip we should buy a jacuzzi tub for our house - I'm sure we could squeeze it in somewhere! Here are some pics from our hotel.
We had a full kitchen. Too bad we didn't stay longer to take advantage of it!

My hot hubby on the left standing in the dining room/front room area. We had a fireplace and big screen tv that made for some nice relaxing!

The view from our deck. Park City is gorgeous!
 Love my hubby!

For dinner we decided (okay mostly Treyson decided) to skip somewhere fancy and just go to a pizza joint and watch the Real game. I've still been getting sick quite a bit so I just didn't want to waste money on somewhere fancy. We went to Maxwells and it was actually really good! Besides watching the cougars hit on younger men when I was trying to watch the game we had a great time.  After we grabbed some gelato from a place close by and went back to our hotel to relax. The next day we did a little bit of shopping and just enjoyed spending some quality time together!

Thanks to the awesome family and friends that we have I had a great weekend. Special thanks to Philip who went out of his way to make sure I had a great day - including an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. I'm pretty much obsessed with those. Here's to another great year!

Go Utes!!

Although it hasn't been much of a brag-worthy season... We still love going to all of the University of Utah football games! Right now we're in full swing with Real's season coming to an end and Utah's season beginning. It makes for a hectic couple of months, but we always enjoy it!
