Labor Day Weekend

I know it's almost a month past Labor Day, but like usual we have both been crazy busy. Over Labor Day weekend we decided to go visit Philip's brother in Arizona. It was so nice to get away for the weekend and to visit with family that we don't get to see that often.

Although.... Knowing us - our trip had to wait a day longer because Utah had their season opener Thursday night. Have I mentioned how much we love having season tickets? If I haven't then I guess I'll mention it now. WE LOVE HAVING SEASON TICKETS TO UTAH FOOTBALL!!! Last year for our wedding present I surprised Philip with season tickets. Now I tease him that the tickets are mine and that they were just his for the first year (guess it's not teasing because they really are mine haha). So that was the start of our short vacation. After the game we drove to St. George and stayed the night. I'll let the pictures tell the story...

GO UTES!!

Okay so I have to explain these pictures. When Philip and I were taking our engagement pictures he would laugh to himself. It was the funniest thing ever. So I was teasing him and doing his laugh while taking the pictures. A day in the life with Philip is never boring!

 Driving to Vegas

This is where we stopped for breakfast and it was so yummy. Philip had red velvet pancakes with white chocolate syrup and I had berry french toast. I definitely recommend going there.

Yummy hot coco!

Once we were in Arizona I was horrible with taking pictures so here are the few that I have. This is the Cardinals stadium. It was pretty cool seeing an NFL stadium.

Harrison is such a cute kid. Had so much fun spending time with him.

See what I mean. He's so stinkin' cute!

On our way home we saw a rainbow. Then it turned into a DOUBLE RAINBOW! Oh my... haha

Although our time in Arizona was short and sweet we had a blast. Thanks so much Michael and Heidi for having us. Can't wait to see you guys again for Thanksgiving!

SO FUN! How was the weather while you were in Phoenix? Wish we could have gone too!
