Mama Always Knows!

It all started a couple weeks ago and after 3 visits to the doctor we found out our little guy has C Diff. Blah! This has not been a fun experience AT ALL! I had a lot of people tell me that Trey just had a stomach bug or that he was fine and he wasn't sick, but when mama knows, she just knows. 

 

Treyson still had a lot of his personality, but he definitely hasn't been himself for a couple of weeks and it's been soooo hard to see. Usually he is generally happy probably 95% of the time (I know we're lucky). We do get some tantrums and stuff thrown in there, but it's usually followed by his laughter 30 seconds after. The last couple weeks that's disappeared. He's been super clingy (he's not a cuddler at all), he's been very cranky, and just hasn't been very happy. 

 On Monday, the doctor finally called us back and let us know that he had blood in his stool and on Tuesday we got another phone call saying he has C Diff. We still have no idea how he got it. Here's some pictures of my little guy after his rough doctor's visit last Friday. Breaks my heart a little a lot.

Sunday night and Monday were really hard days for us. Treyson screamed bloody murder Sunday night and the only thing that settled him down after about an hour of screaming was taking a bath. Luckily his Aunt CC bought him this toy for Christmas that he loves and it helped cheer him up. Monday began with him throwing up that morning followed by throwing up tons that night. Philip is an AMAZING dad. Have I mentioned that? He was on throw up patrol and was so much help. I tried to help, but then Philip would've been cleaning up double the throw up.

 

Did I mention Monday night I started to feel a little under the weather? Yup. Being the great mom I am I decided I wanted to be really empathetic and get sick just like Treyson.  Mom of the year right? Followed up with the doctor today and it's looking like I'm lucky enough to have C Diff too! Yay for a house full of sickies. On the bright side, I have enjoyed all of the snuggle time I've had with Treyson.

Treyson 12 Months!

I can't help to think I have a future model on my hands! Treyson was sooo cooperative and easy during these pictures! They seriously turned out amazing! Chad at Faces Photography is amazing if you ever need pictures done!

Yes he is this big of a ham in person too. He can't help but flirt with any girl that makes eye contact with him. We are in soooo much trouble!

Treyson 9 Months!

Of course this mama could live off these cuddles all day long! I have the sweetest little boy ever! Here are Treyson's pictures from his 9 month photo shoot!

I bought this hat at Peach Days in Brigham and he looks adorable in it! We always get compliments on it!

 

In just 3 short months since these pictures were taken he is no 100% on the go - walking and running everywhere, flirting with waitresses to get free food, and keeping his parents very busy!

Treyson 6 Months!

I can hardly believe these pictures are from over 6 months ago! Right now Treyson is busy getting into everything and these pictures remind me of much simpler times! It's also hard to believe he had a little bit of chunkiness in him for awhile because there is no trace of that now. 

Treyson was obviously into chewing everything at this stage as you can tell by the pictures!

Officially Caught Up!

I think I'm officially caught up with everything that I needed to blog about! I'm sure with school starting back up tomorrow I will fall behind again! I will do my best to keep our blog up to date so I don't have 50 blog posts in two weeks to catch up on! 

Philip and I are both getting pretty close to being done with school and although it's been hard people keep reassuring us that it's worth it. We sure hope it is! 

All I know is that there's an end in sight and we just keeping pushing forward!

Merry Christmas!!

 We hope everyone had a great Christmas! We had a lot of fun with our family this year!

 Here are a couple of pictures of our family before Christmas Eve service at our church. Aren't Treyson and Philip so handsome?

After Christmas Eve service we went to a family party for a little bit and then it was time for Treyson  to open a couple of presents! Treyson got some cute pjs that he could sleep in before Santa arrived and a book to read before bed time.

After Treyson opened his presents, we sat down for my family's Christmas Eve tradition. Every year growing up we read the Twas' the Night Before Christmas story in a giant coloring book and colored some pages. I love being able to do this and it is so much fun to look at the pictures we've colored since Philip and I were married.

Some pictures from Christmas morning. Treyson was so funny with his presents, after opening them he decided that he needed to stand on them. He was pretty spoiled with lots of toys, books, and clothes!

My sister Sandy had her appendix out just a few days before Christmas so we ventured out to her house to visit and what do you know... Treyson and Heston had some matching pjs! Heston is so cute with Treyson and loves to give him loves! It's going to be so much fun watching them grow up together!

We enjoyed spending lots of time with family on Christmas and eating lots of yummy treats! Thanks to everyone who spoiled us on Christmas!
