Treyson's Birthday Party!

Treyson's birthday party was Dumbo themed! We thought it was appropriate since Baby Mine in Dumbo was one of the first things he fell in love with and now he likes to watch Dumbo!

I found some ideas from Pinterest, but these peanut bags are filled up with Nutter Butters! Yummy!

 

Just before the birthday party Treyson wanted to fill up on some Spaghettios!

 Opening his presents. Treyson was so spoiled by everyone. Thanks to all of our awesome friends and family who came over and made his first birthday so special!

Now for the birthday cake! Treyson went to town on his birthday cake and left very little behind!

 

Happy Birthday Treyson! Mommy and daddy love you so incredibly much! You have been such a joy to us this last year!

12 Month Checkup!

12 Months Old: December 2, 2013

Height:  30.5 inches (74th %)

Weight:  21 lbs. 1 oz. (45th %)

 Clothing Size: Mostly 18 months and some 12 months
Diaper Size: 3

 

 Likes: His pets, television- Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sesame Street, Daniel Tiger, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Dinosaur Train are some of his favorites, being read to, Mommy and Daddy, playing with his cousins, being spoiled by his grandparents, smiling, laughing, being tickled, his vehicle toys, playing and watching soccer, you are obsessed with yogurt melt snacks, you love your mom's ipad especially the Fisher Price apps, you love running, playing peek-a-boo, and where's Treyson (you put your hands on your ears and think you're hiding)

New Things: You are pretty much eating only big kid food, you have 14 teeth, you are starting to say more and more words, you started walking since your last check up and your walk has turned into a run, your hair is finally growing, you have started becoming more picky with food, you play with your animals a lot and have become more interactive with them, you started sleeping through the night again, and you have become obsessed with electronics. You are also completely off formula and bottles! WAHOO!! You have started waving and clapping.

 

Dislikes: you have started being picky with foods- vegetables and other foods that you used to love. You hate it when you don't get your way. You don't like going down for naps, but have stopped fighting them as much.

Rewind of Treyson's First Year!!

Here are some of Treyson's first pictures! The first one is shortly after he was born and the second one is when we were finally able to take him home from the NICU! So handsome!

 Here is Treyson at just 1 month old! It's hard to believe he was so tiny! He has always been so alert!

 

Treyson at 2 months old! I remember this is when he first started laughing and smiling all the time!

 

 

Treyson at 3 months old! Such a happy little guy!

 

Treyson at 4 months old! He got a little chunky there for awhile. His personality was really starting to come out!

 

Even at 5 months he was soooo happy!

 

6 months old and full of life! Love that cute little face of his!

 At 8 months old Treyson started crawling and made these pictures even harder to take!

At 9 months old we were in Yellowstone and Treyson was more excited about seeing some puppies than the elk that were 20 feet away!

At 10 months old these pictures were almost impossible to take! Treyson was and has continued to be soooo busy!

 At 11 months old he turned into a candy lover just like his daddy and also started to walk!

Here we are at 12 months old and Treyson's personality continues to shine through! He is so much fun and definitely keeps us on our toes!

 I am so glad that I decided to take these pictures every month! I'm sure I annoyed plenty of people, but it has been so fun to see how much he has grown every month and now to look back at how much he's changed over the year!

12 Months Old!

Well it happened and it happened too fast! My little guy celebrated being 1 year old (12 months old) on Dec 2, 2013! He is so independent now and is a very busy boy! He loves play with his toys and his pets. He loves snuggles from his mommy, daddy, and his grandparents. 

 

He doesn't want to sit still at all! He has a very contagious laugh and is usually a pretty happy guy. He has learned how to fake cry and to throw temper tantrums. One of his favorite places to hangout is Kimber's kennel. He loves going to the zoo and watching the active animals. 

 

Our little baby is not so little anymore. Happy birthday to our little Treyson! Can't wait to celebrate all your future birthdays together! You are the best thing that ever happened to us and we are so thankful everyday to have you in our lives! Love you baby boy!

Treyson the Walker!

On Treyson's 11 month birthday, he decided that he wanted to become a "walker!" For the longest time he has been able to walk with toys and along our furniture, but has been scared to attempt walking on his own. Well.... Not anymore! Treyson is now on the go more than ever! So proud of my little boy!

11 Months Old!

 My handsome little Treyson turned 11 months old on November 2, 2013! This little boy is sooo full of life and is definitely a handful. He started getting into everything and never wants to sit still! He loves to laugh and can frequently be found laughing at his puppies and kitty. The bottom right picture shows his relationship with Kimber. He loves her! Whenever she walks into the room he is all laughs and smiles. He has made taking these monthly pictures extremely difficult by not wanting to sit still, but I still managed to get a few good ones! The picture above shows how much he loves candy! I think his daddy passed this trait down to him because they are both candy junkies!

He has grown up so much in the past 11 months and still continues to surprise me by how much bigger he gets every month! I absolutely love getting to spend time with him. He has really been more active and taking an interest in more things. He is talking a lot more too!
