We are finally in the single digits!!!! We can't wait!!!

We still have been so busy! Most days I am working 10-11 hour shifts at work and going to school (only a couple more weeks of that at least). We finally got our invitations and got them out! Only 1 returned so far, that's pretty good right? We now only have 28 DAYS!

It's really getting down to the wire, but we both just can't wait to be married already! Hopefully the next 4 weeks come by super fast!

In other news, WE WENT UNDER CONTRACT ON A HOUSE!!! If all goes as planned, we will be closing May 13 and moving in on the 14! The house is in Layton and is a really good fit for us. It has been completely flipped. Brand new carpet, brand new paint, and lots of other stuff. I really hope this works out for us!

75 days...

Only 75 more days left, but who's counting? I know I'm horrible at blogging, but we have been so busy. Philip and I got approved for a house loan, so with all the wedding planning we have also been searching for a place to call our home. We found a place that we're going to go look at again on Tuesday and decide if we want to put an offer in on it. It is such a huge step to make and it's been putting a lot of pressure on us, but we both know it's what we want. It wouldn't be that much more than going out and getting an apartment and it really is the wiser choice if we find something that fits us. I'm hoping everything works out for us.

Everything else with the wedding is coming along. We have most of the big stuff done. We just need to get our engagement pictures and get our invitations out. We'll have those done by the end of the month. I seriously can't wait for the wedding to be here. I'm so excited and anxious for it. We're still hoping that it will be a sunny day! Hopefully in my next post I'll have some exciting news about a house and some pictures of what's been going on.

Oh!! My wedding dress finally came in! It actually came in 2 months early! I'm going to try it on next Friday and I can't wait! It is absolutely gorgeous!

Our Life...

is consumed by wedding, work, basketball (for Philip), and school (for me). I can't remember the last day we had off just to do nothing and have fun. Friday and Saturday nights are spent with me doing homework all night and trying to make Philip help. I'm over wedding planning, working, and school. I just want a day to do nothing, I want an A.j. & Philip Only Day! Can anyone make this happen? I don't know if I can go 3 more months like this....

On the bright side, I'd say 80% of wedding planning is done. It's all just a lot of small stuff left... Engagements, invitations, favors, tuxes, bridesmaid dresses, tanning, jewelry, shoes...

All I can say is May 7 (last week of school) please come fast, and May 21 come even faster... I want to be on our honeymoon relaxing together....

110 days till we're Mr. and Mrs. Gray... :)

Goodbye 09

Well... Another year has passed by us! There were plenty of good and bad times in 2009, but I can't wait for what 2010 has to bring!

Goodbye 09!
- landed a new job at IRS
-bought our awesome furniture
-celebrated 4 years with Philip, then I
- got ENGAGED to the love of my life!
- went to Disneyland for the 3rd time and absolutely loved it.
- planned and stressed over our wedding next May.
- visited Phil's family in New Mexico
- BROUGHT IN 2010 WITH THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!

Only a little under 5 months till our wedding. I hope it goes by quickly. I can't wait to be married to Philip. I am so lucky he is in my life and I really couldn't ask for a better guy. May 21, I will not just be marrying my fiance, I will be marrying my best friend! Cheers to a great new year! :)

And the date is....

Philip and I set a date for the wedding. It's May 21. We're going to get married at Canterbury Place in Bountiful, UT. It's beautiful there. There's a cute little outside ceremony area that is covered with trees and has fountains on the wall. We're crossing our fingers for a sunny day in hopes of getting married outside. Inside, there is a huge room for you to sit, hang out and eat some food. Then there is a huge ballroom as well. We're way excited to start getting things going. We're meeting with our wedding consultant next Thursday to start getting everything planned. In 9 months and 4 days we will be married! I can't wait! :0)
