This and that...

I've been a horrible blogger lately! I have been so busy with work and school! Even right now I'm supposed to be working on a presentation, but I decided updating our blog is way more important.. haha
I really don't have many updates on us- we just work and go to school. That's pretty much about it. This semester has been a little harder on us than normal, we've kind of been in a funk I think. Who knows. Here's some picture updates of what's been going on since I can't really think of much else to write about...
Majesta had her Junior Prom and me being the great aunt that I am did her hair for it. She looked super cute even though I didn't get a serious picture of us I think this picture is more us anyway! I love being an aunt!
Speaking of loving being an aunt, Philip went out of town for the weekend a few weeks ago so I got to spend some time with friends in Salt Lake that I hadn't seen for awhile and I got to stop by and hang out with this cute little guy. Heston is such a sweet baby and he totally loves his bath time! I love every minute I get to see this little guy!
There should be no surprise that there's been some drama with our kids (our pets). We had to get Kimber fixed and she was not a happy camper. The anesthesia really made her sick. We felt so bad, but after 24 hours she was completely back to herself. We thought getting her fixed might calm her down some. Nope not at all. She is the most hyper dog ever. That's okay though we love having a big dog to play with.
And of course Trouble. You should never name an animal Trouble even it if fits them when they were younger. Maybe if you don't give them the name they grow out of it. Philip woke up one morning to the sound of a bird flying around our room (I was already at work) and what do you know, there was a bird flying around our room. Please dismiss the toy, socks, and shoes Kimber likes to destroy our house when we're sleeping or at work. Anyway Philip spent a good part of his morning trying to catch this bird and finally did. He let it go and said it flew away fine. There is never a boring day with our pets though, that's for sure!
Like I said Philip went out of town for the weekend a few weeks ago and it just so happens that he missed the opening Real game. Bentley and I had to pose to show him what he was missing out on. My mom and I had a blast at the game and went to eat at Cheesecake Factory before. My mom had never been there before so it was a lot of fun!
For some reason Tootsie loves to be inside my sweaters. She just squeezes her little way in there and it is the most comfortable spot ever for her. She's just the cutest little pup so I had to add this picture to our blog.

And of course Real is back in session!
I'm so glad that we are STH! I love being able to go to all the games and this is something I see us being able to do for a long time. Plus we always miss our little Real family- we sit by the funnest people at the games. Here's hoping for another MLS Cup in Utah! Go RSL!
Last but not least... I snapped this picture last Saturday morning. They're such cuddle bugs. Love my hubby and all our crazy pets!

This is Halloween. :0)

Love being an aunt!

Last night Philip and I took my niece and nephew to Nightmare on 13th. My nephew has been constantly begging his parents to go to haunted house ever since he started to see them pop up around town. We all kind of wondered how he would do.

L.j. was literally sitting on the edge of his seat. Every time Philip slowed down he would have to look out the windows to see if we were there. It must have been very exhausting being so excited to go to a haunted house and he crashed on our way to SLC.
Once we pulled into the parking lot L.j. was stoked! He was so excited to be there!
I must tell you he handled it like a champ! He held his aunt's hand and made sure I was holding him extra close (which I totally don't mind, I figure I only have a couple more years of this now), but no tears came from this kid. He did jump and get startled a lot, but even I couldn't believe how strong he was! I think I got scared more than he did at times. When we walked out we asked him what he thought and he said, "That was AWESOME!!" We all had a blast together and I enjoyed being able to spend time with Majesta and L.j. Seriously being an aunt is one of my favorite things ever! I'm so lucky to have the cute nieces and nephews that I do.
We told L.j. that we think the zombies got a hold of him because he could barely keep his eyes open when we stopped to eat and as soon as we got in the car he was out for the count.

All Tuckered Out..

This is what life looks like after a night at Aunt A.j.'s and Uncle Lagoons! haha

Yesterday we had my nephew L.j. and my niece Kenadee come over for a sleepover. It was a blast! We spent the day playing with legos, playing video games (watching Kenadee play Just Dance 2 is the best ever), went over to a friend's house and just had a good time hanging out. I love my family so much and I love how close I am to my nieces and nephews. I never really had that growing up so it's important for me to always be around in their lives. L.j. spent a lot of the time letting us know what he's been learning in kindergarten. Yeah I know he is so TALL for a kindergartener (sp?) but he definitely is cute. I love taking him places and hearing everyone talk about his red hair. He definitely is the cutest red head around. Kenadee loves to dance and sing. Most the time she can be found with her MP3 player just tuning the world out singing and dancing. She definitely is a strong willed always on-the-go girl. I can't believe that she is already 4 years old and will be in Kindergarten next year. The picture from above is on our way home from church. They cracked me up how quickly they just crashed and slept the whole way home like this. I love these kids so much!
